“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! David was the most receptive hosts I have ever had (and we have stayed in a lot of Airbnb's over the years). The house was extremely clean, had everything we possibly needed (including a pack ‘n play, highchair, and beach equipment). David even offered a late checkout without us even asking. The beds were SOO comfortable. Such a cute house with so much character and all the modern touches to this farmhouse. It was very private but not too far from the beach. Would highly recommend to anyone!”

“The Ladybug is as absolute gem of a rental located just a few minutes once you cross the bridge into the Eastern Shore. We were looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat away from the world for the weekend and this place was ideal. Within minutes of the adorable Cape Charles, you still feel like you are on your own island out here and the wildlife alone is worth the trip. We saw bunnies and deer in the mornings and evenings and the bird watching was phenomenal.”

“Our family was looking for a quiet escape during our daughter's Easter break and this was the perfect location to do so. You are close to trails, the beach, downtown Cape Charles, but you also have so much to do, or not do at the home. We enjoyed dinners out followed by fires outside and star gazing. If we return to the area we will absolutely stay here again... Excellent hosts, beautiful property and home!!”

“Absolutely one of our favorite Airbnb stays! Beautiful, quiet and peaceful location but still close to amenities. About 10 minutes from the grocery store and downtown Cape Charles. Friendly (but not too close!) neighbors. You are also very close (0.5 miles to maybe 5 miles) to multiple nature areas with some really nice short hikes and varied ecosystems (bogs, bay, beach, forests, etc) and lots of wildlife sightings. The house was cozy yet spacious and perfect for our group (3 adults, 2 dogs).”

“The kitchen is fully stocked with equipment and cooking and bar supplies. It was fun to experiment over Thanksgiving! The house is a smart house which made lighting, music and temp control easy and fun. David was a perfect host - accommodating various requests - responding quickly and checking in on us mid-week.
